Daily Journal Continued November 25,1998, William Thomas Thompson The final day of this tour in the challenge of my life.(Rome) What do the Romans know about the true religion of God?this crime before God and man under the auspices of good and sacred is shame ful and represent all of the evil empire of the opposite from God and right as in rightousness as there is none in Rome,this is the mysteryBabylon of Revelation17-5"And upon her forehead was a name written,MYSTERY,BABYLON THE GREAT,THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOM-INATIONS ON THE EARTH.6-And I saw a women drunken with the blood of the saints,and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus"today we visit the Vatican to see the great art by Michelangelo and others in the Sistine Chapel and the museum with its beautiful hallways. This is an independant country and we have an ambassador here for the richest little nation on earth and the tiniest,about 20 acres but most powerful by far,the seat of the Pope is here where Popes have ruled the Romanworld for 1500years,the dynasty of popes have ruled with an ironhand the stolen church and killed people by the millions at will and never ever repented of anything,Pontiffs are like our president can do nowrong but hispower is given to others long before he is crowned to carry on the evil of the kingdom. We are now inside the Vatican Museum at$10.00 each and acres of Jap- anese tourist looking up at the ceilings in the long hall ways of 1000feet or more of arched art double leveled leading over to the worlds most famous chapel that was painted by Michelangelo in the day of the masters. The last judgement painting there on the back wall behind the altar is a sight to behold and with this cardinal that treated Michel so bad,he painted in the pit of Hell near the doorway leading out to Saint Peters square where the Pope appears to wave at the people who come to worship him. Seeing this art is an experience of a lifetime. We have purchased a book in English, its entitled The Sistine Chapel(Edizioni Musei Vaticani)with text by Fabrizio Mancinell of the Vatican Museums,a list of40different scenes are listed in the chapel commissioned 1535 Michelangelo to paint the present art on the ceiling and walls. This bookofart is most important to have in my own library to appreciate and remem-ber it by. We purchased a book of art from the catacombs showing so much of the soft and wonderful artwork of that day and the Ch-ristian way. We passedup a blessing offered by the travelagent at $42.95,after lunch here in their cafeteria,we were off to see the church near the coliseum with the statue of Moses and "Peterscha-ins",we waited 1 hour for the church to open at 3.30p.m. and then took a taxi to "Saint"Pauls Basilica where we saw a list of Popes pictures 29years ago when we visited here. It was well after dark now but the church was open with mass being said under the golden dome in the front of the seemingly milelong structure so tall and so clean. It seem to have heat now and outdoor water closets even lights. I took some pictures but the light was not bright,I tried to read the names so far up there but could not,you see,I had one missing link,it is the man named Peter they claim was their first Pope. As I rounded the corner to the right I saw a gift shop with books and ask if they had a list of their Popes and was told no,I looked for myself and there it was before my eyes a complete book Popes written in English and not Latin,264 Popes all with picture and names of each and dates they served except Peter had no date.
